The oldest title company in Lake County, was recently honored as the Business of the Year by the Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce, only a year after being awarded the top producing agency in Ohio by their underwriter Westcor Land Title Insurance Company.
Neil J. Conway, President
Neil is an attorney and functions as Conway Land Title’s chief executive officer for escrow services and title review. He has been a frequent author and lecturer on a range of title topics for trade associations, bar associations and Lake Erie College. Neil graduated from Cathedral Latin School (now NDCL); and went on to receive a BSBA from John Carroll University; an MBA from Suffolk University (Boston); and a JD from the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. He was also a former Officer in the United States Army. Neil has also been a volunteer for several non profits and youth coach in rugby and baseball. He was recently awarded the Irish American Peace Prize by the Irish National Caucus of Washington, D.C. for years of humanitarian advocacy to bring peace and social justice to Ireland.
Maureen C. Dolan, Vice President
Specializing in Marketing and Customer Service, Maureen’s community involvement includes being Executive Director of the Western Reserve Community Development Corporation and former Board Chair of the Downtown Painesville Organization. She is also a member of the Western Reserve Junior Service League and Painesville Rotary. Maureen’s resume includes bachelors and masters degrees from Georgetown University, where she captained the Women's Basketball Team. Maureen also earned a law degree from UDC. She is fluent in Spanish, thereby adding bilingual closing services for Lake County’s growing Hispanic community.
Mary Sekki, Office Manager
Mary brings over thirty years of title examining and escrow experience to the company’s key administrative position. Her roots and family ties are deep in the community. She attended Painesville Harvey High School and Lakeland Community College in Mentor, Ohio.
Lois Crowley, Policy Administration
Lois brings over 25 years of experience in title policy administration and people skills. She attended Ursuline College locally.
Neil J. Conway IV, Webmaster/Marketing
Neil is the Goaltending Coach for the Youngstown Phantoms (USHL), Gilmour Academy and University School; and previously Colgate University and the Austrian based EBEL for Szekesferhervar(Hungary). He is also the owner of Conway Goaltending, Easy Crease, Cleveland Dek Hockey, and manages their websites along with Conway Land Title's exclusively. Neil attended University School and Owen Sound secondary for high school, after being drafted to the OHL. He went on to obtain a bachelors degree in Commerce from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. While in college he was awarded the President's Award as the top Student-Athlete, after being selected MVP in the Huskies 2OT win in the Canadian (CIS) 2010 Nat'l Championship in ice hockey held in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Neil then played professional hockey for 5 years including winning the ECHL Brabham Cup in net for the Toledo Walleye, the Continental Cup held in Italy for the Nottingham Panthers , and 2 appearances for the USA in the Junior World Cup and 5 Nations tourneys. His talents augment our range of service, administrative and technical support.
Declan Conway, Post Closing Services/Marketing
When not helping out at Conway Land Title, or playing golf for the company team at various outings, Declan plays professional ice hockey. Declan found time to contribute to Conway Land Title's video production as Business of the Year (see blog) while leading the Mentor Ice Breakers of the FPHL in scoring in the 2019-20 season. Declan toured the US as an instructor for Pro Ambitions Hockey training camps and was recently loaned to the Vermilion Bobcats (Illinois) of the SPHL, now skating with the Carolina Thunderbirds (NC). He previously starred in ice hockey locally for both Lake Catholic HS where he wa an OHSAA All-Star and John Carroll University where he scored a hat trick in their 4-2 CHMA college championship win over Pitt. Declan was initially drafted to the NA3HL by Jamestown, NY--followed by two years of Canadian Junior Hockey in the NOJHL and GOJHL.
Danielle Molzon, Processing Department and dedicated mother of three is a welcome addition to the staff from nearby Grand River, Ohio.
Liam Conway, Administrative Assistant/Marketing
A recent graduate of Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario, Liam will be heading for Colgate University as the new Director of Hockey Operations. We will miss him. He played both ice hockey and lacrosse for Lake Catholic HS and continued his passion to be a two sport athlete while attending Northland College in Wisconsin and later Brock where he was on their Nat'l Championship finalist lax team in 2017. This followed Liam's run in Canadian Junior Hockey where he was drafted to the Niagara Whalers after being selected to play goalie in the Southern Tier All Star game, awarded the trophy for lowest GAA in the GOJHL (2016), and was a member of the Caledonia Corvairs Sutherland Cup Championship Team.
Danielle Nelson, of nearby Willoughby adds service and support as a dedicted mother, having attended Bryant and Stratton College.
Henry Berger of Claremont, California, adds administrative support, including the new archival project. He was the leading scorer among defenseman for the Mentor Ice Breakers Professional Ice Hockey Team in the FPHL and Carolina Thunderbirds during the Covid 19 pandemic. Henry also plays on the Conway Land Title golf team, and previously played hockey and lacrosse while attending Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin.
Seanna Conway, Of Counsel
Attorney and Head Coach of the Gilmour Academy Girls Prep Hockey Team. Seanna attended Gilmour Academy and Ridley College for high school, and has a BA from York University (summa cum laude); MA from the Nat'l University of Ireland Galway; LLB in law from Griffith College, Ireland; and an LLM from Brooklyn Law School (NY). She is admitted to practice law in Ohio and New York. Her hockey resume includes playing in D1 of the NCAA (ECAC Player of the week for UNH v. Quinnipiac), CIS Academic All- Canadian, a season in the NWHL with the Quebec Avalanche, two MVPs in the IIHF Women World Championships with the Irish Nat'l Team, and coaching at Manhattanville College (NY).
